Fresh Graduate Profiles

Follow these steps to create a fresh graduate account (Click here if you are in doubt on what type of account to create). If you are in a hurry, we kindly ask you to come back with some time, since this process is quite serious and we expect your full attention in completing the account.

This account type gives you the opportunity to undertake mini projects from industry professionals and some selected companies. This would help you to gain more industry experience and exposure.

Step 1 - Find path

Follow the path below from the homepage to get started.

Step 2 - Category selection

From five main categories mentioned in this step, select the category that your degree belongs to. You can select only one category.

Click “Next” to continue.

Step 3 - Personal details

Fill out all the fields with your personal details. Password length should be more than 6 characters. Once you are done, click on “Verify Email”. This action sends a 4 digit number to the given email address. Now check your your inbox for an email from us, remember the 4 digit number in it and use it in the pop up window.


If you don't see an email from us in your inbox, kindly check in the spam folder. If you are using Gmail, it might have landed on the "Social" or "Promotions" tabs as well. If you still couldn’t find the email, try clicking “Resend verification code” in the pop up window.

If everything is fine, click on the “Verify Email” button. You’ll see a check mark () in front of your email address, if your email is verified.

Click “Next” to go to the next step.

Step 4 - Contact Details

You can add your workplace address here. It can be your residence or an office address.

In the map view, drag and drop the green marker onto your location. You can zoom in and out of the map using "" and "" buttons in the bottom right corner of the map view. After pinning the location correctly, click on the checkbox “Above pinned location is correct”. Your location is taken into Tegola system if (and only if) that checkbox is ticked. You can leave the checkbox unticked if you don’t wish to add your location to your profile.

Then, select your working area from the drop-down menu. First select the district, and then the city. This is used to identify you, when search results are filtered by location.

Then add your phone number. Input length should be 10 digits. Please enter your phone number without the country code (+94).

You can add a website link and your social media links here. Add the full URL of the links as shown in the text boxes. Leave them empty if you will.

Once this step is done, click on “Next” to move on.

Step 5 - Your Qualifications

This is the step to add your qualifications.

Add your degree title, institute/university name and your graduated year. To add your qualification(s), type the qualification name in “Type qualification here” textbox and the institution name in “Type institute here” textbox. Then click on “” icon. You can add more than one qualification, following the same procedure. A maximum of 10 qualifications can be added.


When adding qualifications, Tegola system only reads your data once you click on the “” button. If you fill up the details regarding your qualification but do not click on “” to add them, you information will not be saved.

You may add any other qualifications apart from degree(s) under “Other qualifications" section. Maximum is 15 qualifications.

Leave the qualification textboxes empty if you don’t want to add your qualifications.

Click “Next” for the next step.

Step 6 - Skills

Select the special skills that you are confident in providing and click on “Next” to go to the next step.

Step 7 - Tell us who you are

You can skip this step and fill it later if you wish, after logging into your account. To skip, click on the “Skip” button without filling anything in text boxes.

Cover statement

A single sentence that describes all your work, concepts, styles or experience. This will also appear in profile search results. Length should be less than 500 characters.

Profile description

Here’s the main part. You are given 5000 characters to describe all about you, your talents, your skills, awards, your journey and anything else noteworthy.

Special facts

This is the space for your uniqueness. You are given with 8 slots to mention special facts about you, with 80 characters each. After filling, click on the “” button to add it, making the textbox empty for another input.

After this step, click on “Finish” to finish creating your account. Then you’ll see a “CONGRATULATIONS” page. To login your account click on “Log in to your account”.

Insert your account credentials and click “Sign in”. Voila, you're in! 🎉

You just created your profile. But this is just the beginning. Complete your account by adding profile and cover pictures, the cover statement, profile description and any special facts. You can also add awards and projects to your profile.
